iiterate Showcases AI-Generated Virtual Hosts at Future Tech Fest 2025

At this year’s Future Tech Fest 2025, iiterate Technologies GmbH was invited as a speaker to present an innovative case study titled:

“Virtual Hosts in Online VR — The Volkswagen Customer Center Experience in Hannover.”

The presentation explored how immersive digital experiences can become more human-centered through the use of interactive video avatars acting as virtual hosts in online environments. By guiding visitors through a virtual customer center, these avatars create an experience that feels personal, engaging, and intuitive — helping users feel comfortable in digital spaces.

The iiterate team demonstrated how the concept evolves further when these hosts are AI-generated avatars. Leveraging advancements in generative AI and virtual production workflows, iiterate showcased how this approach enables:

• High-quality character realism with natural tone, pacing, and lighting

• Cost-effective production compared to traditional video workflows
